Fish House Punch

Fish House Punch is a potent, historic American communal drink originating from an 18th-century Philadelphia fishing club. It is a strong, rum-based punch with a complex, balanced flavor profile that includes a mix of spirits, citrus, and a hint of peach.

George Washington was a known admirer of Fish House Punch, a potent, historic American cocktail. Originating from the Schuylkill Fishing Company in Philadelphia around 1732, the punch is a blend of rum, brandy, peach brandy, lemon, sugar, and water, traditionally served in a large bowl over a substantial block of ice.

Legend says Washington once enjoyed the punch so much that he couldn't write in his diary for three days.
